如题因为备考时间只要两个月，对verbal的期望分数160+。。英语基础还好，四六级600+。新版红宝书只背核心词汇的话覆盖率如何？拓展词汇还有必要背吗？如果背红宝核心词汇+三千的话呢？跪求各位大大解答~

首先你先明确红宝书和再要你命3000这两本词汇书编撰的原则：根据历年GRE考试出现词汇词频分为所谓的核心词汇
这些考试基本都是老G的考试词频。GRE考试没有范围，任何一个词都会考。

背多少单词合适？这个没人能告诉你。比如3.23的考试考了cynosure这个词，这是红宝书的拓展词汇，3000未收录。那么你没见过必然不会。

我的建议是至少把两本词汇书所有单词掌握80%以上。

另外新GRE越来越考察阅读和逻辑了，四六级和GRE水平无任何关联性。

Robin大神回复了好荣幸！

两个月准备时间，觉得再背拓展的话有些来不及，只能有所取舍了~

不知道先准备红宝核心+3000 再配上练习试试如何。

我还是建议你背拓展。老G认为频率低的词汇不代表新G出现频率就低。
另外想突破160应该在阅读上下足功夫。单词只是辅助的。

答案是D，但是我觉得这个C的迷惑性好大，还有这个B选项也很纠结。。。

这个 For example列举了 democratic的两个特性，你看下前面的两个结论， sensible response & change of form. B C都只包括了其中一项特征。 D讲出了 persistence和 adaptability
