PhD position opening at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville

Two PhD research positions are currently open in the Nano Bio-systems and Nano Bio-mimetics group at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville for the following research projects:

1. Control/ mathematical modelling for immune system

Requirements: Solid mathematical background, and publication record in system theory with keen interests to apply for solving real world bio-physical or medical problems.

2. Experiments on nano-fibers

Requirements: Major in biochemistry is preferred. Molecular and cellular manipulation and imaging. Solid experiences with con-focal microscopy or AFM. Good publication records or project experiences.
